5 Day Tea & Elephants Tour

The Sri Lankan elephant is one of three recognized subspecies of the Asian elephant, and native to Sri Lanka. Since 1986, Elephas Maximus has been listed as endangered by IUCN as the population has declined by at least 50% over the last three generations, estimated to be 60–75 years.

Day 1

Pick up from Colombo & transfer to Kandycheck in the hotel upon arrival.
Kandy is a large city in central Sri Lanka. It's set on a plateau surrounded by mountains, which are home to tea plantations and bio diverse rainforest. The city's heart is scenic Kandy Lake (Bogambara Lake), which is popular for strolling. Kandy is famed for sacred Buddhist sites, including the Temple of the Tooth (Sri DaladaMaligawa) shrine, celebrated with the grand EsalaPerahera annual procession.
In the evening conduct a city tour of kandy, including a visit to the temple of the tooth & cultural dance.

Day 2

Check out from the Hotel & Scenic train ride to NuwaraEliya.
NuwaraEliya is a city in the tea country hills of central Sri Lanka. The naturally landscaped Hakgala Botanical Gardens displays roses and tree ferns, and shelters monkeys and blue magpies. Nearby Seetha Amman Temple, a colourful Hindu shrine, is decorated with religious figures. Densely forested Galway's Land National Park is a sanctuary for endemic and migratory bird species, including bulbuls and flycatchers.
Then visit tea factory & check in the hotel for overnight stay.

Day 3

Check out from the hotel & transfer to Udawalawe.
Udawalawe is a small town located in the southern part of the Ratnapura District in Sri Lanka. It is situated in close to the district's boundary with the Hambantota District and Monaragala District.

Dinner & Overnight stay in Kalu’s Hideaway Hotel 4*

Day 4

Set out for Udawalawe Jeep Safari with Packet Breakfast.
Udawalawe National Park lies on the boundary of Sabaragamuwa and Uva Provinces, in Sri Lanka. The national park was created to provide a sanctuary for wild animals displaced by the construction of the Udawalawe Reservoir on the Walawe River, as well as to protect the catchment of the reservoir.
Evening leisure at hotel.

Day 5

After the breakfast and morning hours’ leisure at the hotel, you will be transferred back to Colombo or a location close to the Airport.
